- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 4 tbsp misal garam masala powder
- 2 dry red chillies

- 3 tbsp oil
- 250 gms Mix farsan
- as needed pav
Steps to make to make Misal pav
- Misal masala: Mix dry coconut, dry red chillies, garlic cloves, sesame seed and curry leaves and saute in iron pan at medium to low flame till brown, let it cool completely. Now add remaining masala and churn in mixer well. Misal garam masala is ready.
- Pressure cook green gram and moth beans for for 1 whistle. Pressure cook bengal gram for 4 whistles. Pressure cook white or green dry peas for 3 whistles.
- Heat oil in deep pan add mustard seeds when splutter add cumin seeds, when splutter add curry leaves,asafoetida, red chillies saute for 1 minute, add onions saute till light brown,now add chilli, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder,
- Add tomato saute for 2 minutes,now garam masala powder, misal garam masala powder and salt mix well.Add beans saute for 2 minutes. Now add 4 cups of hot water give one boil cover lid and cook for 15 minutes on medium flame stir occasionally. In serving bowl take misal add farshan,chopped onion and lemon. Serve it with pav.
